Emma LOVES her Great Grandma!
So far, Emma has seen her Great Grandma Myers 3 times now. And for some reason, every time she sees her, Emma always gets REALLY excited and just laughs away in happiness. It is so sweet to watch. Just fills my heart with joy to hear my baby so happy like that. Check out the video at the bottom here. You are in for a treat!4 generations!

60th Anniversary
Celebrating these two! 60 years ago (in February) my Granddad and Grandma Lambert got married. Now today, their family has MEGA multiplied. This past weekend we had an extended family reunion/60th Anniversary party for them. It was wonderful to be able to hang out with ALL of our family, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc, all at once. I'm sure THAT won't happen again in a long long time. Below are a few photos of the weekend. I have SO many more pics to share but again, since the file sizes are so massive, I could only show a few. Check out facebook!

Boysens
On our way down to Kansas we stopped overnight at our good friend's house, the Boysens. It was so fun to see how their little girl, Kaylee, just couldn't WAIT to hold Emma and be her friend. Josiah, on the other hand, was a bit jealous of the new baby in the house. Don't worry, buddy, it was only for 1 night! We look forward to spending more time with the Boysens in July.

Meeting Family in Chicago
We spent our 1st 5 days in Chicago with Eric's family. We also got a SWEET new camera that we immediately started using. However, I am just now realizing that those 1st pics we took have HUGE file sizes and take forever uploading. So, I'm going to have to be choosy and not show all of the hundreds of pics that I'd like to show. Alas. I'll try to put more up on facebook if any of you are into that.
Here are a few things we did in Chicago:
Jet Lag!
Watching TV with Daddy.
Meeting Aunt Laura and the boys: Jason and Kyle.
Meeting Uncle Kent too!
Lots of time on the awesome pink "Zanger" blanket Aunt Judy made for Emma.
Meeting Great Grandma Agnes. You can TOTALLY tell what side of the family her looks come from! I think this is a GREAT photo!
Aunt Julie also came over.
Spending lots of quality time getting to know her (ONLY) three 1st cousins. Aww! So Sweet!

1st Time in America!
Sorry for my brief absence from the blogging world. A lot has happened in the last 2 weeks that we have SOOOOO many pictures of. First of all, we took about 28 hours and traveled 1/2 way around the world. Then we decided to meet as many people as possible in a very short amount of time. We have finally in these last couple of days, been able to slow down and catch up on our rest and relaxation. But I have so many pictures to share that it will probably take me a couple of posts to do it all in. However, I feel that I need to post them NOW or by the end of the summer I'll have to sort through 1,000 pics to show and I won't know where to start. So, here goes: The 1st post is of our trip to Chicago which also happens to have been Emma's 1st time in an airplane AND her 1st time in her "home" country. :)
Incheon AirportWaiting in the airport... We had to get there early in order to get bulkhead seats with a bassinet. The Bassinet. We didn't get one hooked to the wall but were thankful to get this one... that resembled an unzipped duffle bag... that sat on the floor in front of our feet.On American soil in the Chicago airport.1st Greeters in America: Grandma Bonnie (pictured) and Grandpa Larry (not pictured). They were SOOOOO happy to finally meet their little Emma who had traveled so far to see them.More of our happy travels to come shortly...

Michael's Graduation Party
This past weekend was graduation here at ICS. On Friday night we were invited to a surprise graduation party for one of the Seniors, Michael, who is the son of the pastor at one of the local churches here in Songtan. It was basically a grill-out on the roof of their building with a special time of encouragement/sending Michael off as a man into his next phase of life. A good time. We snapped a few photos of the chilly evening.
The men at the party praying for Michael.I forgot to bring a jacket for Emma so we wrapped her in this blankie.
"Hey, who put me in this straight-jacket?!? Let me outa here!" :)
